| On discovering that there were no pics of unicorns at Morguefile, I thought about the plot of the book, and came up with this. Pics of white horses with blurred or ambiguous foreheads, I mean. Not sure that I'm quite happy with the typeface, and might redo it, but the book's good. Now I'm working on Peter Quatrine's The Chronicles of the Dragon Sisters, which will come out in two parts any time soon. Entertaining fantasy, with two sisters and a puzzle that leads to ... but that would be telling. Cover designed by the author. Very still morning after yesterday's wind and rain. The tree motionless. Birdsong. Weather forecasts promise wind and rain, but maybe they're out of date. Weather moving west to east, forecasters talking about London?
